A new CVD prevention manual titled “Preventive Cardiology: How can we reduce CVD risk?” has been issued in 2016. The authors Joe Rosenthal, Richard Meakin and Tamar Koch and the editor Harald M Lipman (Executive Director of International Cardiac Healthcare & Risk Factor Modification (ICHARM)) have based the new manual on a training course for healthcare professionals devised and taught by ICHARM in Bashkortostan Republic of Russia. The book will be a valuable source of information for all English-speaking readers in Russia.
