Anatomical features of the coronary arteries and not the severity of myocardial ischemia are predictors of death, and acute coronary syndromes in patients with stable coronary artery disease. Another significant predictor is the ejection fraction of the left ventricle. This is evidenced by the results of the new subanalysis research COURAGE.
